i heard and actually saw a movie set beingmade out at superstition. there are a few places out there that the movie is being made. i have inside info that its another war movie with Jamie Fox in it. its real obvious where its at. there is a big berm they are building in the middle of the desert. totally obvious when your driving on wheeler rd.

plus if you go out to superstition take a second and look at the beauity of the desert. its in full bloom and there are purple and yellow and white flowers everywhere. and the green peace freaks say that we are killing the plant life. yeah right they are stornger than ever. quote my dad, seasoned veteran of 40+ years, " ihave never seen it this beatuiful and green out here ever.

oh yeah we are goin back out there the weekend before Pres. weekend if anyone is interested. ill show you some fun riding if your open to hardpack and not only dunes. eventhough dunes are fun as hell.

wish i got some pics but i didnt have time to stop and take some.. too busy riding.

How far down wheeler is it?

I'll be out there president's weekend, but we usually camp past wheeler a little ways then down to the left, but I'm always riding past wheeler at some point on rides, so I'll have to check it out.

if your talkin on the flats right off Huff rd then you have to go towards the mountain on Wheeler rd. there is a huge place out there that is right in the middle of everything. totally obvious cuz there is a big ass crane out there. looks like a damn construction site.

we tried to ask whats goingon but the security guard said we have to leave. thats it. couldnt get a word out of her at all. luckily i have some inside connections in El Centro of legal paperwork thats needed and someone got to talk to the director of the movie in person. thats the only way i know anything about the movie.

actually there was a movie made their a few years back. it was called "Three Kings" with Ice Cube and Markie Mark and George Clunie (sp?). saw some pretty cool sets that were made out there.

Has anyone seen a movie, I think from the 70s or 80s, where the Titanic is found, upside down, and the people are alive and have created a little civilization?
