This morning the side of the car dropped in, I steered out of it and once out, some how the whole car came off the ground.
It all happened so fast but 'I think' the passenger rear wheel hit, then the rear bounced back up putting me on the nose of the car. The car twisted on the nose like a top and flopped over. I ended up facing the same way I was headed before this happened.

Once it was over I shut off the car, hung there and laughed a bit then unbuckled and crawled out.

Other than cosmetic damage the rear wheel is now a 2 piece wheel almost 3, the brake disk is bent, light rack bent, windshield gone, 2 lights broke, whip, and broke actuator.
Amazingly the 2 LED light bars on top of the light bar were unhurt.

I am fine. Don't feel sore or banged up at all, yet. It was not a violent crash and could have been much worse.

The SCU frame is perfect, no bends or cracks that I can see. I am amazed the trailing arm didn't bend after seeing the rim.
Also the belts did their job!

Huge thanks to (folks from glamisunes.com) HOTNHELL for going back, removing your paddle and bring it out in bigals car.
Also, bigalbest, EZrider, Fixxer, and I am sorry I forgot the 4th guys name Sad

This sorta shows my path:

This is very odd. I am not sure if this was part of the cause or simply a result.
IMO it should NOT have broken perfectly at the welds as well as 3 spokes of the billet center.
I will be calling CMS to see what they have to say.

We ended up having to remove the beadlock, remove the tire and kick the rim off as it was hung up on the hub.

The hood and windshield frame are almost fixable. We will see.

But at least I had on the right shirt:

DOH!  Shocked  I'll have to show my boss this so he doesn't feel so bad about rolling the D7 cat over at work. LOL  Glad you are OK, but it doesn't look like a cheap fix...  Guess it was only a matter of time before you ran out of luck..  Too bad you would not have had the camera rolling when you did it ...that woulda been some good video Wink

Update: Hood and windshield frame are fixed. Sheet metal guy was able to pound them back into shape.
New wing is being designed.

Had my good wheel x-rayed and they found that the weld is bad all around.

Next step is to try and get CMS wheels to step up with a refund and them some.
